Joanne Isherwood, Solicitor
Joanne is an experienced solicitor with over 25 years of expertise across property, probate, and family law. After qualifying at a leading firm in the North of England and practicing in London's West End, she founded her own firm in 2010 to deliver tailored legal services. Working alongside dedicated paralegals who assist with legal research, document preparation, and file management, Joanne directs casework to provide attentive, results-driven advice to both individual and commercial clients.
Carlos Smith, Solicitor
Carlos is a Solicitor specialising in Private Client, Litigation, and Family Law, with extensive experience handling complex financial structures and contentious matters. Prior to entering legal practice, he built a strong background in finance working on money market desks in the City of London, giving him a distinct commercial advantage in high-value, financially intricate cases.
As a member of STEP, Resolution, and R3, Carlos combines technical rigor with a constructive approach to dispute resolution and financial restructuring. His background enables him to navigate cross-departmental matters ranging from private wealth preservation and family asset distribution to contentious litigation and insolvency-related issues delivering strategic, commercially grounded solutions.
Dr. Paul Abba, Solicitor
Qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2022 and further qualified as a Solicitor-Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience (Civil). He holds a PhD in Law from the University of Exeter, an LL.M with Distinction from the University of Dundee, and an LL.B with First Class Honours.
Dr Abba is experienced in providing strategic legal advice to private, corporate and commercial clients on asset protection, civil litigation, corporate and commercial disputes, and wealth management matters, and has been involved in complex civil and commercial matters at the High Court and Court of Appeal, UK.
Natasha Brand, Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals
Natasha qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (FCILEx) with over 20 years of legal experience, specialising in Residential and Commercial Property Law and Probate. Having practiced across established regional, multi-office firms, she delivers strategic counsel across high-value residential, retirement, and commercial property transactions, as well as complex estate and trust administration.
Natasha began her legal career working alongside Joanne, and her return to working her brings a depth of institutional knowledge and technical precision to the firm’s core offerings. Recognised for her rigorous approach to transaction management and exceptional client care, Natasha ensures seamless execution across complex property portfolios and private wealth matters.
Jack Swain
A Dedicated Paralegal and Aspiring Solicitor
Jack is a driven paralegal with a strong foundation in law. Having graduated from Essex University, he has since focused on supporting a dynamic legal team while diligently working towards his SQE 2 exam. With a distinction in SQE 1, Jack has showcased his exceptional legal knowledge and analytical skills. His expertise lies in landlord and tenant matters, where he handles over 400 cases annually.
As a paralegal, Jack plays a crucial role in the team, providing invaluable support and contributing to the successful resolution of legal matters.
Yasmeen joined the firm in May 2023 as an apprentice, she is now completing her studies at BPP University to become a qualified (CILEX) Paralegal. She supports fee earners across the Property, Private Client, Litigation, and Family Law teams, undertaking legal research, drafting documents and client correspondence, managing case files, and handling day-to-day schedule management.
Hongjia (known as Jessy) joined the firm in August 2026 and serves as a Paralegal supporting the Private Client and Litigation departments. Alongside her fee-earner support duties which include drafting legal documents, undertaking case research, liaising with clients, and managing file administration and diaries she is completing her Master’s with SQE preparation at Queen Mary University.
